We had a pleasant stay at Acropolis Select Hotel. This hotel has an excellent location, walking distance from Acropolis and Plaka neighbourhood. The rooms are modern, clean and quite nice for a 3 star hotel. This hotel offers you a very good relation price vs quality.

Not a good view but good location
close to Metro and Acropolis

We had the special price from Agoda then its value than walk in rate. The hotel is very close from metro and Acropolis. I think the room was repainted, notice from old functional in bathroom and compare with the other commments that say the hotel is too old. It's quite big and clean, the staff is good, breakfast is full option buffet.
Restaurant Tip:
Mahn Mahn is just cross the juntion on the way to Acropolis. It's very very good taste.

Convenience at a good price

on our return to athens, we stayed at this hotel for a second time. this time we had a room that was not refurbished. yes, the carpet was not as clean as it should be, and the bathroom is small, but i still believe that it's better to stay here for less money than the fancier hotels with pools etc because we were busy walking around the plaka and only needed a place to sleep.
every staff member was very helpful and pleasant.

We knew it was close to Metro station but were still surprised at how close and easy it was to get to hotel. We got instructions by email from hotel for getting from airport to hotel by metro. Really easy.

Great location for Acropolis area
Great location, close to train station

The hotel location is very convenient although the room is very small. It is very close to train station and bus station with only 5 minutes walk. Also, close to Acropolis by 10 minutes walk. Many coffee shops and restaurant along the way to Acropolis. Walking to Plaka area is also very close, about 10 minutes walk.
