This is a very affordable hotel, not so easy to find if you get off the metro on Onmonia Station, so keep a map just in case. The room was surprisingly large and comfortable for the price. I was gladly surprised to have a balcony since I paid way more to other hotels in Athens and had no view at all, so this was a good surprise. They have wireless internet which is a major plus, also they have a computer at the lobby that you can use if you don't have a laptop or a smart phone. The staff was very pleasant, the gentleman although spoke little English, he was very helpful, I don't speak any Greek so any English they speak to me is always taken graciously. I did see some comments about the neighborhood and it's sort of right. The street where the hotel is located seems to be in a neighborhood where lots of immigrants from Africa and Pakistan or India live. They tend to stay out on the streets talking and socializing but for others it might seems strange but I realized it was their culture habit to do that. People tend to get nervous but they mean no harm. I walked around but as soon as it got dark I did prefer to stay at the hotel. There's a few restaurants in the aerea but for the most part you have to walk quite a bit to find better options. I would definitely stay there again. I did enjoy my stay and for the price it was a nice surprise!

Though the hotel was in a bad area, we never felt uncomfortable in any way. Great location, close to one of the main metro station. lift is small, only for one person and luggage. room is clean, bathroom is clean with no smell. though the rooms are outdated but they are well kept. no good restaurants near by,but do try food in plaka area

Excellent value, this room is worth every dime you pay. It is in a very transit accessible area, we took the train to omonia and its a 10 minute walk. I had read that the area was bad, but we encountered no problems nor did we feel even slightly threatened. Breakfast was decent and shower was hot!

ok it's not a 5 star hotel, but if your looking for a place to stay in athens for about , this place is hard to beat. i don't have any major complaints. the area does get a bit seedy after dark, but is ok during the day time. breakfast is good, for the price. staff were helpful in getting us too the airport during the strike.
