Had a great time, front desk woman was very informative and booked us a tour. Street a little scary on the outside but once in the building, clean and comfortable.

Great location, good place to stay

I highly recommend this hotel! We were meant to stay 2 nights and ended up staying 5. This hotel is in the perfect area for tourist activities.The man at the front desk is wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. Close walk to acropolis and lovely restaurants. The only con is its a little noisy sometimes you can hear people coming and going. The hotel staff are wonderful though and very accommodating. You feel safe here.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you want to see the city for cheap jump on the “happy train” for 6 euros and it takes you on a 60 minute tour of athens including all the main landmarks and you can hop on hop off if you want to spend a bit more time somewhere.

good place for budget travel
nice staff, close to metro, comfy but low price

We went to Athens during the peak season (summer holiday), it is difficult to get a budget hotel and which is close to the town and metro, but this hotel is the one. It's just 7 minutes walk to metro station Monastiraki or Omoania, and just 5 minutes walk to Carrefour. Kebab shop is just around the corner of the street. With the low price room, please do not expect much from the room, a simple 14-inch TV, the bed, the air-conditioner (very necessary during Greece summer), hot water shower, that's all. But I have no complaint about it, it would be more than perfect if it comes with a fridge in the room.
Lastly, something should be mentioned, because this place is close to Omoania, the safety condition should be concerned, it's easy to see single mid-aged ladies or men hanging in the street.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
7 minutes walk to Monastiraki, plenty of restaurants, bars and souvenir shops. But don't make it too late at night, and put your back in the front.
