Situated adjacent to the National Archaeological Museum, this recently renovated hotel is conveniently close to the main commercial district of the city. The hotel offers 93 comfortable guest rooms with modern furnishings and large spacious bathrooms which are cleaned daily. The Best Western Hotel Museum is located in an ideal place for guests to admire the historic architecture of the surrounding area and is also close to Syntagma Square with its many good markets and shopping centers. The hotel features a delicious buffet style breakfast and the in-house bar serves alcoholic drinks and light snacks. There are also a whole host of cafes and restaurants in the area or guests to sample the local Greek food.

Central location for reasonable price
My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in Museum hotel in October. It's location is strategic for visiting many tourist attractions in Athens (archaelogic museum is across the street). It is also within easy reach from the airport via the metro. In terms of location, the only think that somebody may want to consider is its proximity to the polytechnic school and exarchia area, where sometimes clashes between students or anarchists and the police forces take place.
The hotel itself is old and the room quite small but in good condition and with all basic/necessary amenities that tourists or businessmen needs. Free wireless internet was available. Breakfast was reasonable.

decorating a little impersonnel.les standard courtyard rooms overlook the facades of other buildings but the advantage is calm.
Hotel located a few tens of meters from the archaeological museum in a quiet street, pleasant and helpful, good breakfast, very central location for rapid discovery of Athens before or after a stay in the islands, the decor is banal as all the hotel chain, but modern confortable.Belle bathroom marble.
