Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Hera Hotel Athens Info
This stylish boutique hotel offers an intimate environment within minute's walk of the Acropolis. A few blocks from Syntagma Square and close to the New Acropolis Museum, Hera Hotel is a calm and cool little enclave of rooms in a highly desirable location. The charming little streets and restaurants of Plaka are a short walk away and the metro is also close, although visitors will find all of Athen'ss ancient sights and museums reachable on foot. Rooms at the Hera reflect underplayed sophistication and class with warm coffee tones and high-quality fixtures, while the terrace restaurant and bar serves fine foods and wines with the Acropolis as a backdrop. A PC is set up in the lobby for internet use and a central atrium provides an elegant venue for breakfast in the cooler months.

The best thing about Hera was its location - right next to everything - to the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum and to the plaka.
The rooms were a bit small. No airconditioning in the winter and the reception staff were a bit curt.
Hera Hotel was the perfect place to stay for our 2-day stay in Athens. Having disembarked from a cruise ship, we just wanted a day or two in Athens to tour the Acropolis before heading for home. Hera is located right were the action is - right next to the beginnings of the plaka. Shops and restaurants abound in the area. The Acropolis you can see from a five-minute walk away. I was very happy with my choice of Hera for my brief Athens stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't miss the Acropolis Museum which is less than a 5-minute walk away from the hotel. It is a fabulous find for just one Euro entrance.

Close to Plaka, Acropolis, friendly service and amazing view from the rooftop restaurant.
Well located and descent price for a 4 star hotel, close to the new museum, the Acropolis ruines and Plaka shopping area. Friendly service, great restaurant with breath taking view on the Acropolis and the new museum. Nice breakfast also included. It s a nice size hotel not too big not too small. We will return for sure if we are back in the area!
