Convenient location but unaccomodating services

this is our second stay at hera hotel during our 2 weeks holiday in greece. great location for sleeping, but staffs were not very helpful. nevertheless, we prefer the area as it is quiet compared to syntagma square.

Great location, clean room, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. We picked the standard double room, but we felt it was quite small - made us wonder how small is their "small double room" ....
The hotel has parking which we did not find out until our last day. The receptionist was not very helpful with parking even though we told her that we just wanted to park briefly just to pick up our luggages after we check out. Otherwise, the hotel itself was lovely.
Restaurant Tip:
There are lots of cafes nearby which open as early as 6am. Good for breakfast!

It was a 3-star hotel but located in the heart of Greece. The breakfast was also good and the internet. We would love to stay there again.

This was our second stay within the same week and we love this hotel. The location is fantastic, you can step out the front door and within no more than a 10-15 minute stroll you're visiting the ancient Athenean sites, dining in a great restaurant or shopping. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are more than adequate, and the rates offered through Agoda are very affordable, and the staff are wonderful. A very good 4* hotel and we highly recommend.

The Hotel Hera Athens was recommended to us by friends, and we were extremely pleased. The location is fabulous as you can easily walk to all the historical sites at your leisure. Having breakfast, lunch or dinner in the rooftop restaurant with the view of the Acropolis is just magical, especially at night. The staff are all very welcoming and our standard category room was more than adequate for a few nights in Athens, clean, comfortable bed and good bathroom. The rates offered through Agoda for a 4* Athens hotel are more than reasonable compared to other hotels we looked at, so yes, we highly recommend the Hera Hotel

Perfect location but tiny room

Great location right where you want to be to explore the tourists sights. Downsides were a very small hallway like room and the breakfast was 15 euro a person so we bought breakfast from the nearby bakeries and convenience stores.

Quaint with a great location

We stayed at Hera Hotel for two nights and were able to easily walk to any and everything we wanted to see in Athens. There are a number of restaurants nearby and a great view from the top balcony of the Acropolis. We were there during a taxi and metro strike and the staff was helpful in hiring a private driver to get us to the peir.
