hermes hotel was a great stay. close to main attractions in athens. staff were very helpful and breakfast was great.

Stylish & Central Hotel

I stayed 2 nights & was very comfortable. The room was clean & stylish. Had a marble bathroom, balcony & air conditioning. Hot & cold buffet breakfast - simple fare but nice. Staff were very attentive & helpful. The only downside was my room wasn't ready when I arrived late afternoon after a long & tiring journey. And I wasn't the only one this happened to. A great shame because otherwise the hotel is first rate. Good value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
When coming & going from the airport take the trouble to check out the metro connection. It's very easy. Whereas my taxi ride in from the airport was expensive & scary. Athens taxi drivers SPEED!
