Easy Access to Airport

The airport shuttle service was frequent and punctual, driver and porter were helpful and professional. On 19 April, I checked out from hotel about noon and left my luggage with them as my flight was 2030hrs that evening. The staff offerred us free ride/ drop off to nearby FACTORY OUTLET via the airport shuttle bus. It was extra mile service. We were thankful. We booked our transfer from hotel to airport at 1930hrs with the staff before heading to FACTORY OUTLET for shopping. At about 1900hrs, we returned to hotel and retrieved our bags, then waited for our transfer. Although I repacked my luggage,I did not realise something were missing. It was only upon arrival at my home in Singapore did I found out that some stuff (of sentimental value) were left accidentally in the hotel room. Certainly, I emailed the hotel immediately. 2 days later. I received a reply and was told that my things were found. I was asked the date to pick up the items. As I will not be travelling to Greece or Athens soon again, I wrote back to request the items to be post to me.I am looking forward to a favourable reply.

functional hotel - expensive for what it is

I stayed at this hotel during a long layover at the Athens airport. It is functional and worked for what I wanted - a place to hang out in stead of the airport. I used the gym facility which was great and found the staff to be very helpful. However I would say this is an expensive hotel compared to others I stayed in whilst in Greece.

my husband and i wanted to stay near the airport because we were leaving the next day. the hotel was clean and comfortable. there is not a lot around the area except for an ikea but you would need to take a bus or taxi. there was no internet in the hotel which was not ideal. if you want a place to stay for the night and do not require much other than that the hotel is fine. it is fairly close to the airport but you would have to take a shuttle or cab. the sofitel is in walking distance so may be a better bet.
