In the sense of cost effectiveness, this is a 10 points hotel. The rooms are clean with reasonable space and the location is good. Nothing to complaint for a 3.5 star hotel at such price. What is worth mentioning, the breakfast! Absolutely 5 stars standard! Not those cafe and bread continental stuff but FULL breakfast just as those you enjoy in 5 stars hotels.

the hotel was easy for taxis to find; was within easy walking distance of a station to the underground railway system. also close walking distance to a central bus station; reception staff were very helpful; rooms are not large but of adequate size, clean and of good standard. most importantly for a visitor to athens the hotel was within walking distance of the acropolis and parthenon. facilities are good value for the price charged.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
A good base for visiting the Acropolis etc.

We had a great time. It is very clean hotel, good room service but very unhelpfull staff at the desk. We are family of 6 and they would'nt help us to find the taxi to go to the airport. Beds in a room are very hard , hard to slip.
Take taxi to go to Monastiraki 3.70 euro, do not bother with buses spetialy if you are family. Akropolis is a great place to visit 12 per person but if you are not from EU then only 6.00 euro entrance. We will go there again but we will pick a bit friendlier hotel next time.
Restaurant Tip:
Restaurants are great at Monastiraki area but watch out they charge 1.00 euro for bread per person, so if you 6 people you will pay 6.00 euro for 12 psc of bread, be clear before you order.

Very nice stay in the Junior Suite

I booked this hotel in August 2012 for a few days, it was a very nice stay in the Junior Suite with the balcony looking at the street, across from Intercontinental Hotel.
The room was large with a big comfortable bed, clean bathroom and some nice almond fragranced amenities.
The hotel is about 10-15 minutes by walking from Acropolis and all the surrounding attractions.

My second stay here, got a nice room with balcony and good view. There is a roof top which is nice to visit as well. Wifi does not work well.

staff was very helpful and friendly. i came early and could not check in until 14.00. room was simple but clean and gave me a good night of sleep. wifi does not work well.

Quality hotel for a good price
Flat roof top tanning area with view of acropolis

the view from the rooftop was beautiful and there are sub beds if you want to tab but can't make it' to the beach.
it is a 15 min walk from tourist attractions but is a good location for quick port transfer (8-9 euro)
they gave us juice on arrival and there was wifi in the room free of charge.
the only con was our room key did not work on returning to the hotel numerous times
