Only a 2 ** hotel not worthy of a 3*** rating

If you want to be kept awake all night, then this hotel is for you. Some band played loud music until 6am in the morning. Streets dirty and in disrepair.
Wouldn't recommend anyone staying out too late at night.
The wait-staff and domestic staff are fine but the middle aged front desk man has to be the rudest hotel staff I have ever encountered.
When we arrived at the hotel he purposely ignored us for at least a minute while pretending to be busy on the computer.
No Hello or welcome or any pleasantries and generally gave us the impression that we were not welcome.
The younger front desk guy on another shift was fine and helpful.

cet hôtel bénéficie d'un emplacement idéal. il est à 100 mètres du métro. a la même distance de plaka et aussi de l'artère commerciale d'athènes. d'ici vous pouvez tout faire à pied. le midi et le soir pour manger vous aurez l'embarras du choix. le prix de cet hôtel est très attractif. le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse au quatrième étage est impeccable. quand à la vue sur athènes et l'acropole c'est génial. l'hôtel par lui même est simple, propre et climatisé. la déco est sobre voir un peu triste, mais bon, on est ici pour dormir et le couchage est bon. c'est la quatrième fois que nous réservons ici, pour toutes les raisons évoquées ci-dessus. avant de regagner la france cet hôtel est idéal. bon séjour.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Demandez à être logé côté cour. Vous n'aurez pas de vue sur la rue, mais surtout pas le bruit de la rue car la vie nocturne éxiste à Athènes.

Emplacement idéal pres de l'Acropole.
Accueil sympathique Anglais et un peu de Francais. Proche de la station de metro Thissio.

Les chambres du 1er étage sur cour sont bruyantes car la climatisation de la réception située juste en dessous tourne à plein toute la nuit.
Le respect des chambres dites "non fumeurs" laisse un peu à désirer.
Vous prenez le petit déjeuner sur le roof, face à l'Acropole, ce qui permet de bien démarrer la journée.
L'entrée de l'Agora, qui conduit à l'Acropole est a environ
300 m de l'hotel.
Très bon rapport prix/qualité-emplacement.
Nous y retournerons si nous avons l'occasion de revenir à Athenes
Beaucoup de petits restos pour diner le soir aux alentours de l'entrée de l'Agora
