Great central hotel in athens

I liked this hotel, it was value for money, the rooms and bed were great... big buffet breakfast was great.. staff great.... close too subway and tourist attractions...
My only issue was dead slow internet and the over the top price they wanted for internet that worked, i had to use HTML just to read email... And the area its in, i dont think its safe to wander around as an individual..

everything within the hotel is comfortable and cozy. but the location is horrible. it's not advisable for a single passenger, especially a woman, to choose this hotel.it's simply scary to walk down the streets alone in this neighbourhood, day or night.

Novotel Athens Hotel is closed to both Larisson Metro Station and Ominia Square Station. It is very easy to take train to suburb area in Greece. Also it is walkable distant to Constitution Square and all the brand name stores. The hotel has nice breakfast buffet, the food is good.

Great hotel n facilities
The pool, room, and an ok gym

the hotel is great but the location is further away from the town centre. it's not too safe to go out at night. we just stayed in for dinner by the pool which has the great view of the acropolis.
Travel tip:
make sure you know which public transport to take to get into town as when i was there there was a strike with the cab drivers. i was lucky enough someone gave me a lift to the hotel after taking the bus from the airport. the best is to catch the train but make sure you do ask the workers as we were left at the platform for a transfer after catching the train from town to the airport. there's no instruction at all.

Neat hotel

Looks like it has been recently refurbished. Nice creative interior to my eyes. Located some 10 minute walk from Omonia. Reachable also by the other metro/train station (Larissis) on the east. Either way, you'll have to pass through a neighborhood packed with foreign workers and crosses few busy roads.

a hotel with honest staff

my stay was short, but I think it was satisfied as the staff wass very polite and helpful and honest as well.My partner forgot her jacket in the room and the staff kept it for her many days untill we returned from our seaa cruise to some greek islands.It was good experience with the hotel staff.But unlike many other hotel we missed free wifi service inside the room.
