The hotel had a beautiful indoor pool, the rooms have light blockers on the windows. The hotel bar and restaurant is very overpriced The Sofitel Athens Airport Hotel is in a very good location, it is literally over the road from the airport so no stress when going to get flight. The swimming pool is beautiful and there was noone in it. The rooms were very nice and the bathroom was lovely. The only fault i have with the hotel is the overpriced food and drink but as the airport is so close we just walked over there to eat. We would definately stay there again.

Beautiful lobby and sleeping rooms, very well appointed. Very polite and accomodating staff. Very expensive menu items, no lighter / less expensive items available in bar or casual restaurant. Our sleeping room had a bug in one of the beds, we requested another room and moved, had very little sleep for the night before we caught an early flight. Very beautiful and professional Hotel - I did feel the incident we had with the room could have been handled a little bit better, but overall the team handled it well. I cannot give a high mark for cleanliness because of the bed - Actually quite scary -

Great Hotel, very welcoming staff and very accommodating. Clean and great location. Pretty cheap room service menu that operates 24/7 great if you have a short stop over or early flight. A bit expensive per night for what you got. Great hotel overall, bit expensive, but worth it for the convenience of being literally 20m from the departures terminal. Staff very nice and accommodating.

The primary reason to stay at this hotel is its proximity to the Athens airport. If you have a 6:00 a.m. flight and can afford this hotel, stay here. You simply walk across the street, and you're at the airport.
We expected a bit more luxury for the price. We were most disappointed with the hallways and especially the carpets. They are looking a bit worn. The rooms are not luxurious but are comfortable. The showers are great because they are huge-- especially nice after you've gotten used to typical Greek showers.

Shopping Tip : An IKEA store is very close and is accessible by bus.

The staff were very pleasant. The fact that even though I tried several attempts to open the internet site with read "Sofitel Athens Greece" and agency blocks the access. I had to pay extra for a room. Clever but the only EUROPEAN country where such a thing could happen. As well as paying extra, this is the first time I am in a hotel where breakfast is not included. I was even asked to "PAY TV" for the movie of the month. Shameful.

It was absolutely fabulous to get off an international flight and through the arrival hassles and then be able to walk right outside and into the hotel (and the shower!) I couldn't believe the hotel was right next to the airport and I never heard one plane. The rooms were beautifully appointed and very Greek. A lovely experience for a novice traveler.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Easy to walk outside to metro to go into central Athens. A long ride though - 45 minutes or so. And they don't tell you that at night you get off one train and then on to another. An easy switch but I wasn't told either night I tried this.

Directly connected to the airport. Answering the front desk, bedding, comfort癒Emasu and tired from traveling around the bus Sure enough behind the aircraft, shortly after arrival at the airport 0. Smooth walk from the reception at the airport in one minute. Arrive in the room without stress, L'Occitane amenities were a breath of relief soothing bath filled with hot water. Metro and easy to shop very close to the railway The room was clean but the smell of water. Was convenient to get anywhere. Metro also walked three minutes so shopping, dining, the hotel was able to break through.助Karimashita close to home, especially in front of the airport and Termini station.
