Fully renovated in 2007, the 7-story building has 99 spacious rooms all located in close proximity to the main features of Athens. Athens Gate Hotel is one of the few hotels in the region that can boast that there is a view of the Temple of Zeus right from guests' balconies and from the rooftop terrace restaurant. Nearby attractions include famous destinations like the Acropolis, Plaka and Promenade, all within five minutes' walk from the front door. Dana H. Solo travelers United Kingdom, May 06, 2013	Average hotel in Athens location 6.3 I didn't like this hotel. The breakfast was poor. My room was really hot. Nothing was done when I complained about the air-con. The pillows were uncomfortable. The shower had mould in it. The lifts are very old. There is, however, a lovely view from the roof restaurant.

Business travelers France, April 24, 2013	CENTRALLY LOCATED HOTEL NICE VIEW ON ACROPOLIS BED, TERRASSE, STAFF 7.7 Centrally located in between the zeus temple and the acropolis, this is a great place for sightseeing. Staff is friendly, hotel is nice and bed comfortable. Great breakfast on the terrasse with view on the acropolis.THE ONLY THING is ask for a room on the acropolis side because on the street side it is very noisy....lot of cars!!
