DIrty but friendly

Omnium square is not a nice part of town, the whole area is filled with loitering young men. The blankets were so gross, cig holes, stains, etc. The sheets appeared clean though. The whole hotel smelled of cigs but hey, that's Greece! Wireless works on lower floors and there is a sitting area downstairs which is somewhat accommodating. It is close to the metro and acropolis which is great. Finally, despite it's shortcomings, it is cheap and the front desk is very friendly.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Watch your wallet and watch out for scam artists. Do not really interact with locals who appear friendly and want, for instance, to get a beer. Avoid the Hollywood pub, scam joint.

Good value for money - budget travelling
simple, clean, friendly staff, central location

If you need a room just for night or two to sleep in the centre of Athens than this hotel is not a bad choice. Near to metro station on Omonia Square (approx. 150 m). Staff is very friendly, helpful, you'll get all the information needed. This district around Omonia could be "strange" especially at night but we had no problems.

It is just very close to Metro station (5 mins walk to Omonia Square) and with low cost. Good for limited budget travelling. Staff are very helpful and enthusiastic. Warm welcome from the hotel. It also have free wifi service available in common area. The only bad thing is a bit old-fashioned. But given with the low cost, it is absolultely good value for money.
