From the airport, if you choose to take the bus, you can take the bus to Fira for €1.60 and and another €1.60 to Oia. Then you can checked in at the tourist information centre right in front of the bus station. They will have someone to take you to the room and help you with the bag. The room is at a great location with a great view. Nice cave house design. i love it. it's a bit small be careful you can bump your head at the door if you are tall. during my visit there is no wifi. a lot of food options nearby you don't have to worry. it is close to the major attraction which is the Oia sunset view point!

great view of outside...but not so much inside

On arrival we checked in at the tourist information centre (we got this infomation from trip advisor, no mention on agoda or on booking) then we were taken to our suite. first impression was that although it was very big and spacious, it was very shabby and rundown. The place was clean (as clean as it can be) but the furniture was old, some lights did not work, door lock was on its last leg, bed was really uncomfortable and noisy, air-con was hard to use (as remote was faulty) and also the outside area was covered in stains and leaves (no maintainence or cleaning of outside area).
Nevertheless we made the best of our stay in Oia and considering the price it was sonewhat acceptable but next time I would go all out here as it would be worth it!!
