Great value clean hotel in good location

We had a great stay at this very modern hotel. We were happy with location as close to restaurants/bars in VII/Jewish area but if you want to be close to all the attractions I would advise you to stay closer to the river. It was about 15-20 minutes walk to the river.
We had a room on 4th floor with window facing out. Very quiet room and very clean although on the small side. Only downside is that it smelled of smoke even though it is a non-smoking hotel. On day two we asked for a different room which was fine.
Reception staff very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was ok overall. Not much variety with the hot food and didn't look too appetising. Good range of cold meats and cheeses, yoghurts and pastries and bread though.

I was satisfied with all service:room,staff,breakfast,and location. The room was so clean and comfortable. Breakfast was viking style. You can eat a lot of kinds of meet,but there is a few kinds of vegitable. It is located near metro,so you can go the center of Budapest easily.

Me and My husband was very disappointed while arrived at the hotel, we are expected a minimum service at a 4stars Hotel, but we received non. the room are tiny, open the door you can only jump to your bed, impossible to walk in the room. During our stay we couldnt sleep at nite as some fellows we chatting and laughing till morning and the hotel designed with full echo so you can even hear the noise better. For those traveled with cars, consider you have to pay almost the same price of the room for parking overnite. So far this is my worst experience of my hotel booking.

Great hotel but hard beds
Very clean modern hotel 15/20 mins walk from centre. Breakfast was fantastic - bacon, scrambled eggs and continental. Staff all spoke English and were very helpful.

This was a great place to stay. However, the beds were a bit hard and there wasn't a full length mirror in the room.
Shopping Tip:
Visit the central market for your paprika but go to the basement supermarket. It's cheaper and the paprika comes from Szeged which is the best.

Comfortable and friendly Hotel

A modern and well decorated hotel. Staff were friendly, curteous and helpful. Rooms were comfortable, if a bit small. Convenient for local transport. In room safe for the laptop and the free wifi were a definate plus. A good breakfast, but when the hotel was busy the dining room was barely adaquate and staff struggled to clear table quickly and keep hot food topped up. Don't let this put you off. I will certainly stay at The Atrium next time I am in Budapest (nest year).

the room was small but adequate. everything else was excellent. a clean, modern hotel with good facilities and helpful staff. in a very good, central location in budapest. the breakfast selection was small but of very good quality. we enjoyed our stay here and recommend the hotel to others.

Next to underground metro station and Trams 4 & 6. You can use these Trams to go right up to Buda Castle. Hotel is in a good location in Budapest. Breakfast selection was adequate and food was good. Highly recommended hotel.

Bland hotel far from anything interesting

First the pros. The hotel was very clean. Basic modern design. Not very expensive.
The cons. The included breakfast was pretty meager, and didn't look that appetizing. I just ate the yogurt and cereal. The front desk guy who checked me in was pretty surly and not very polite. There is one very nice front desk person named Melinda who sort of made up for that. The hotel is a bit out of the way, along a street that isn't exactly dangerous, but has a lot of drunk, homeless-looking types. If I had checked geography better, I would have picked another hotel closer to the old town. Hotels in Budapest aren't that expensive, and it would have been just a bit more for a much nicer hotel.
