Great location and chic atmosphere
Very chic Asia decor, great location and quiet.

This hotel was good value for money. Had a great location and the decor was very chic. My only criticism would be that the hotel is understaffed. Never anyone at the Conceirge desk and a long line of people waiting to check in and out.

my stay at the buddha-bar hotel was perfect. the hotel is magnificent and the rooms are really cosy. you have the feeling to enter in a different world when you enter in this hotel. the hotel has his own atmosphere developed around the theme of spa/relaxation.moreover, you can stay a full day inside the hotel if you are not in the adventurous mood. the food was exquisite and the cocktails are a heavenly (even if a bit too expensive but you have a free drink at your arrival)

Fantastic location as it is walking distance to almost everything. Cafes, restaurants, shops are just around the corner and Enna (receptionist) was very helpful and welcomed us with a beautiful smile. Travel tips though given were a bit disappointing as there were others that are cheaper than the Hotel's recommendation, i.e., Big Bus Tour is good value for money which is not in the Hotel's list. You can get a ticket from Big Bus tour which includes the bus day and night tour, Danube river cruise, hop on and off for 2 days. The 2 long lampshades that drops from the ceiling by the bedside are not the best as you can hit your head if you are not careful. But overall, the Hotel is on a great with the friendly staff!
Travel tip:
Great place to stay and would highly recommend it if you are just in the city for 3-4 nights as it is so close to everything, including Banks and $ Exchanges. Very safe area to be in and thoroughly enjoyed Budapest. The buffet breakfast was not a big variety of food and maybe because it is not the peak period for tourists.

This brand new 5-star hotel say they are aiming even higher than 5 stars..They success! The interior gives a unique atmosphere that is connected to the famous restaurant and bar. The breakfast, roomservice and not at least the dinner in the restaurant is simply delicious. Servispeople are on spot to help out at all times. We did not try out the spa(The prices for the treatments are quite high compeared to what you can get elsewhere in Budapest). We were lucky and got to spend 3 nights at this fantastic hotel included breakfast for only about 440 Euro in total for 2 persons! A lot for the money! (Compared for what we get home in Norway..). 23. October is the National Day of Hungary, and people gathered right outside the hotel for speaches and television, marking the day. The hotel lefs a letter in our room the day before, informing about this. The crowds were calm, and we experience the Hungarian people as very friendly and calm. A moment to remember was when they played the National Anthem, and we where inside the hotel that afternoon, hearing the people sing. Beautiful! The only negative is that the have a constructionary proble that the water from the shower is floating out on the bathroomfloor. This is under work.
Restaurant Tip:
You should really try out the Buddah-Bar Reastaurant! Staying in the hotel you get a free welcoming drink in the bar. Just the atmosphere is worth it all! They even got a great non-alcoholic menu of superb coctails! Enjoy! Also nice locations around the hotel for photo shoots.

I was in budapest for 4 days on a business trip.
Buddah bar hotel was great. It was late at night when I checked in, and frankly, it was a bit scary.
The hotel was a bit dark.
But inside the room the bathroom was wonderful and the staff were very friendly.

We were totaly surprised by this hotel, it was a random choice due to the fact the regular ones were full! nothing to complain about and who ever enters the bathroom and checks the toilett will return! A toilette with remote control, welcome to Buddha Bar Hotel!! Next time we are in Budapest we will for sure stay there again!

Wonderfull place. We will for sure return, the interior of the hotel is well done, rooms are great. The mini bar is most likely the best in whole Budapest and the bathroom one of the best in the world - check the toilett!
