Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

A nice and clean "uptodate" hotel. Excellent location, just at the main pedestrian walk and the Mall. Breakfast ok. Very priceworthy!

Great location with good breakfast
Customer Service, Proximity to Souvenir Street and Central Market
8.3
Cosmo Fashion Hotel is tucked behind Vaci Street, which may be a little difficult to find especially arriving at night. With that said, Vaci Street is good for souvenirs. The Central Market, supermarkets, a pharmacy, and restaurants are also nearby. It is just across the bridge from Gellert Hill and Hot Springs.
Customer service was excellent as the receptionist went out of the way to help us locate a few points on the map. Breakfast was delicious in a good setting. Try the scrambled eggs!
My room was a little on the small side but the contemporary design element makes up for it. Considering the good price, I would stay here again.
Restaurant Tip:
Walk across the bridge and there is a beautiful Hungarian restaurant with live music that is reasonably priced.

lovely room, but entrance needs to be improved
Staff are nice and helpful
8.7
the entrance is the thing that needs to be improved. i had to call the receiption from my us cell phone to open ht door (hotel door, not the room door) for me as i couldn't find the intercom button. yet staff still didn't come out to open the door for me. luckily there were other guests were coming in; so they let me in with them. other than that the room is nice and clean, staff are helpful.

Everything you need
Clean new rooms, wifi and helpful reception

Goog location and the hotel is great for the value, clean and new. Interesting wall paintings and colours in the room.
Only negative was a light blew causing all the lights to go out in the room and the reception couldn't fix it until the morning, luckily it was already late and we were leaving the next day.

Nice hotel with good location
Close to shopping street, and tram
7.7
It is a nicely located hotel, close to shopping and dining area, near tram stops thus easy to go about for sightseeing. However, just be cautious when walking out of the main shopping street towards the green bridge, encountered someone faking as tourist asking fir direction and a man came as a bogus policeman and saying no illegal changing of money and trying to search for ur currency and counting the notes in front of u but in the end, ur notes is less. Just be cautious especially if female travelers.

Nice Hotel in the centre of Budapest
7
The Cosmo Hotel is a clean hotel that's located in the centre of Budapest, it's right on the main shopping/tourist street. The room are big enough some with a shower some with a bath. They serve a standard breakfast in the morning (egg, bread, pastry ect.)the front door of the hotel is always closed so you have to ring the bell to get in. The hotel offers a good price/ quality deal I'm not sure it's 4 stars though. The free wifi I could receive in my room which was perfect to do research before discovering the town.
a good experience!
Shopping Tip:
the hotel is in a touristic part of town where most restaurants serve tourist food (accept for Cyrano). for cheaper and more authentic deals walk out of the centre (or just use the subway). the arena shopping mall is quite big and easy accessible by subway.

Noisy hotel with very bad isolation
Very central, nice bed, nice people at reception.
7
One of the most important things in a hotel room is that you feel no one can hear you. If you hear someone talking and snorring in the room next to you, you will feel like someone is in your own room. Unfortunately despite nice staff, bed and look and feel I felt like someone was sitting in my room during the days. The first night we could not hear our neighbours as there was a party going on in the premises underneath us. We had to ask twice and threaten to leave until the music stopped playing.
I will not recommend anyone to stay there unless the two rooms next to you has no people and if there are no parties planned in the cafe :)

Everything I was looking for
Clean, friendly, very central, nice breakfast
9.7
Visited Budapest on a leisure + business trip, and was hoping to find an inexpensive, central hotel, clean and functional, with a hearty breakfast - and that's exactly what I got. Service was friendly, the room had a little work desk which was quite adequate for work, laptop safe, etc... all in all got exactly what I was looking for. Would definitely stay here again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
I would recommend checking out the free budapest walking tour at the beginning of your stay (triptobudapest.hu) - great way to orient yourself to the city, its culture, history, landmarks, language, etc, plus tips on avoiding tourist traps, etc.
