Great location and beautiful Nostalgic Rooms

We had a great time in beautiful Budapest. The hotel itself was in a very good location, the rooms were clean and well laid out and the staff were always helpful.
Breakfast was verry filling.
Would definately use again!

Quirky Hotel in Excellent Location
Location situated on parallel street to the main boulevard. 5 minutes walk from Metro station.

We were a bit apprehensive about booking this hotel due to some negative reviews, but we could find very little fault.Front desk staff were friendly & helpful, as were the restaurant staff. The breakfast was fine with plenty on offer, including hot freshly cooked bacon & eggs. We had the Tom Jones room with Jacuzzi & the room was very clean & comfortable. I would have no problem with returning, as I feel that it is very good value for money.
Nightlife Tip:
The bars & restaurants in the immediate area close quite early on weekdays at 1200pm. If you like a drink, the hotel bar is excellent.

Wonderful different and stylish hotel
Jacuzzi bath and amazing shower was a treat. Breakfast downstairs was special.

The staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful. I rang in advance and they booked a taxi for us from the airport. We also bought our Hop on Hop off bus tickets from them. Breakfast downstairs was a special treat. It is a very differently decorated hotel and makes me think of opulent gangster style, or The Sting! .You could even play poker.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Budapest is fantastic for sight seeing and most is walkable. Or take a tourist bus. They're so convenient. Go to the New York Cafe too.Its amazing!

I found this place very good value for the money , the room had a nice bathroom , the bed was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful .I had no problems what so ever and would stay here again next time i'm in Budapest ..
Travel tip:
Easy walk to Margret bridge , trams to Buda , the metro , lots of bars and cafes close by ..I don't see any negatives at all here ..

will absolutely go back to this place again. had the marilyn monroe room which was really cosy and on the second floor. it's good to be sleep some stairs up because it's quite a lively street

szimpla, alternative garden restaurang where you meet both locals and people from all over the world.

we enjoyed our 2 night stay at the cotton club, hotel in a good location, very near all the transport systems, also very near large modern shopping mall. the entrance to the hotel was down a side road,so kept it separate from club entrance. the reception staff spoke english, and were friendly and helpful, we even had a complimentary drink voucher to use in the basement club, (which also doubles up as the breakfast room)the rooms were smallish, but adequate, decor was in line with theme of hotel...cotton club with plenty of memorabilia of that time,retro and quirky.we stayed midweek, so hotel appeared nice and quiet, but there is a basement jazz type club/casino which is usually on at weekends, so we dont know if this would be any problem. over all we enjoyed our stay, as good value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We bought a 24 hour travel pass for the equivilent of just under £4 and with the aid of a good map, saw all major attractions, without using sightseeing buses.
