It's a good hotel , medium sized room , with basic furniture , clean rooms with air conditioning and mini refrigerator in it . The hotel staff is friendly and very helpful
The hotel is well positioned ,there is a tram station in front of it, Szell Kalman ter and Szell Kalman metro station is very short distance- few minutes reachable by foot.

The Budapest hotel is well situated, but needs refurbishment.
Small choice at the restaurant.
But...service is very good - you get answer and help at once!
On the whole - we find Hungarian people most welcomming and nice! Everybody speaks foreign languages! We'll come next spring with our daughters!

The Hotel Budapest built in the sixties was really nice and I felt home. Friendly staff, Tramstation in front of the hotel, quiete and parc for jogging opposite the hotel. WLAN possible against paying!! nice breakfastroom with freshly brewed coffee and big choice of warm and cold dishes. If I come again, I would stay also at the Hotel Budapest, even if it is away from centre (30 minutes fast walking down to the Danau.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
... well, you should take a bustour and a boattour and of course going to a very famous bath.

estancia agradable, personal muy amable,para mi fue muy interesante que hablaran español y se ofrecieron enseguida a ayudarme a encontrar el sitio donde iva de conferencias y las convinaciones para diversos sitios turísticos.
las habitaciones estavan muy limpias.el bufet del desyuno era muy surtido.
estava en la planta 11 y las vistas desde la habitacion eran espectaculares tanto de dia como de noche.se veia el parlamento, la momtaña de buda y gran parte de la ciudad.
esta bastante bien comunicado, a dos paradas de tranvia havia uno de los centros de coneccion de transportes publicos mas importantes de Budapest.

Schönes Haus und geräumige Zimmer

Das Hotel ist sauber und ordentlich, was für mich immer Hauptanforderung ist. Das Mobilar ist ziemlich schlicht und mittlerweile optisch überaltert. Insofern sind die Zimmer gestalterisch kein Hingucker, dafür aber der Ausblick auf die umliegenden Budaer Berge. Umbedingt verbessern sollte man die Schalldämmung der Zimmertüren. Im Normalfall kein Problem aber wenn eine Schülerklasse einzieht, kann es zeitweise schon recht lästig laut sein, wenn auch nur an einem Abend.
Verkehrstechnisch günstig geleegen an einer Tram-Haltestelle, wo die Bahnen im 3 min Takt verkehren und nur 2 Stationen von der Metro entfernt. Ein guter Kompromiss für Besucher, die Budapest ohne Auto erkunden wollen. Ganz in der Nähe auch eines der großen Einkaufszentren der Stadt.
Positiv: Zimmerpersonal sehr vertrauenswürdig. Das Kleingeld, das als kleiner Tipp fürs Personal gedacht war, lag abends vollständig noch da und ich hoffe, sie schicken es mir nicht nach Hause, denn ich habs am Abreisetag liegen lassen! Großes Lob dafür!

Attraktives Hotel, etwas in die Jahre gekommen

Von aussen sieht das zylinderförmige Hotel sehr attraktiv aus, auch die Reception (in dunklem Holz gehalten) wirkt imposant und edel. Beim Betreten der Zimmer folgt dann eine gewisse Ernüchterung: Der höchst fleckige Teppich sollte dringend ausgewechselt werden, die Kittfugen im Bad müssten ebenfalls wieder einmal erneuert werden, die Vorhänge harren einer gelegentlichen Wäsche und die Fenster sollten bei nächster Gelegenheit ebenfalls renoviert werden (Schallschutz gegen die lärmige Hauptstrasse). Insgesamt entspricht das Hotel nicht dem Standard eines 4-Sterne-Hauses. Zudem hat sich die Bardame an mehreren Abenden durch eine höchst schlechte Laune ausgezeichnet.
Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, wenn auch für Mitteleuropäer ungewohnt (u.a. mit Pasta, Gemüse und "Wurstgulasch").
Lobend darf zudem das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis erwähnt werden.

Super dubbele kamer op de topfloor met goede AC

Prima tijd gehad in Hotel Budapest. Tramhalte aan de overkant van het Hotel. Twee stops, en je staat op de mainplace, waarbij je keuze kan maken, voor alle soorten vervoer. Tip! Koop een voordelige weekkaart, waarbij je gebruik kan maken van o.a. de metro, tram, en bussen etc.
Mooi uitzicht! Gedateerde kamer, maar schoon en netjes. Vriendelijk hulpvaardig personeel. Geen wifi op kamer (minpuntje), wel gratis gebruik in de lobby.
Eenvoudig ontbijt met koffie en mini Croissantjes, wil je meer dan bij betalen voor een uitgebreid ontbijt.
Geen fitness, en geen zwembad, wat wel jammer was voor de kinderen

いわゆる観光地からはやや離れていますが、トラムがホテルのまん前から出ていることもあり不便さは感じません。ブダペストは公共交通機関がかなり発達しているという印象をもちました。ホテルは円筒形タワーの、特徴のある建物です。建物、部屋ともにやや古さは感じますが、清潔で快適です。私の宿泊した部屋からはドナウ川や市街地の夜景を展望することができ、リーズナブルな割にはゴージャスな滞在ができました。
