North of the Buda side of town, this budget hotel offers a good deal for travelers in a quieter residential part of the city. Connected to the city center via bus and metro, the Hotel Touring is close to the Roman Acquincum about 20 minutes from Pest's sights. Being that the area is mainly residential, there are plenty of shops and services nearby, a McDonald's for those with a hankering for Western food and an onsite garden terrace in which to drink, dine and converse during the summer months. Rooms here are furnished in a basic manner, as befits a budget hotel, but all have private bathrooms and some accommodate up to six people - even better for the traveler with cash constraints.
Children and extra beds:Guests over 6 years old are considered as adults.
Extra beds are dependent on the room you choose, please check the individual room policy for more details.

Too far from the center, horrible wifi
friendly staff, good all you can eat breakfast
5.7
I really can't recommend this hotel for the following reasons:
1) When I arrived, I paid my bill in full in cash. When I checked out 5 days later, the front desk clerk handed me an envelope with the equivalent of over $100 US. He said my bill had already been paid. It took me a few minutes to figure out what this meant. They had charged my credit card! Nice of them to return my money but what if the front desk clerk hadn't known about the envelope or forgot about it. On top of that, no one wants to be handed a large wad of cash 90 minutes before leaving a country. In addition to everything else I needed to do, I now needed to exchange all this money before I left. Of course, I had to exchange it at a slight loss but what else could I do at that point?
2) It's too far from the center if you don't have a car. There's no way you can reach the center with just one mode of public transportation. You have to switch from a bus to the subway or from a train to the subway. So you'll end up paying $5 or 6 a day on commuting plus about 2 hours. Just not worth it!
3) Some of the worst wifi I've encountered. This place is raking in the dough (lots of tour groups stay here) but they only provide wifi in the lobby not in the whole hotel. And even if the lobby, the signal is constantly dropping and is often out for 10 or more minutes at a time.

Tiszta, kényelmes szoba, figyelmes személyzet.
Könnyű megközelítés tömegközlekedéssel, kedvező ár, gyors kiszolgálás.
8.3
Kár, hogy a szobában nincs Internet, csak a recepció térben.
