I stayed at the K+K Budapest during a recent conference. It is a very pleasant place, with a helpful staff and an excellent location. The sauna is nice. The room was fine, but not exceptional, without a real view. Breakfast was OK, though the newspaper selection limited (also, this apparently being a German chain, too many TV channels were German-language). The gym was pretty limited – a strange universal, a couple of bikes and treadmill, but no instructions and no “entertainment” for distraction there, there were bottles of water, though.

The airlines lost my luggage, and I appreciated very much the kindness of the reception desk staff calling the airlines and the airport all the time until the delivery of my luggage.
Travel tip : The proximity to the Opera House, quite famous, is important and pleasant. Also, quite close is a nice oldfashioned brasserie, with outside tables when the weather is fine enough.

The hotel is very nicely furnished and located right in the center. Beautiful breakfast room. The rooms in the new section are rather small. Located in a restored opera house and is furnished with sleek furniture (modern meets authentic). A few steps away from where Na Prikope the opera lies. Close to shops and just a short walk to the Charles Bridge. Breakfast is well cared for. Staff is very helpful. Free internet in the lobby of the hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip : Ask a chamber in the historic part of the building. Take breakfast room so you can enjoy the beautiful breakfast room (in the old opera house).
