Nice rooms and perfect location

Excellent location with nearly everything of interest within walking distance. Small but nice spa at the hotel with several different types of saunas, less suitable for children though. Helpful and serviceminded staff, large and clean rooms with free wifi which worked fine in our room while other guests complained it did not. Plenty of restaurants of all kinds in the area.
Restaurant Tip:
Recommend breakfast at Gerbaud coffehouse just a block away from the hotel. Restaurant Onyx in same building is one of the best in Budapest but also one of the more expensive. Within a few blocks you will also find the restaurants Tigris and Mokka and the DiVino winebar.

Great location in the heart of town

Enjoyable stay in Budapest. Having stayed in various hotels in Budapest, we found Kempinski rooms and service the best yet.
We even tried the Spa and found the experience relaxing and treatments refreshing and delivered with professionalism.
Would be going back again.

Lovely hotel with great location

The hotel was conveniently located. When we arrived on the subway, the hotel, which was located literally at the access point, was a breeze to locate.
Service was also good, as should be expected from the Kempinski franchise. When we arrive, the baby crib, which we requested in advance, was already in the room. Subway tickets and getting information about restaurants and things to do in Budapest was not a problem at all as the concierge was fairly knowledgeable.
The hotel was located within minutes, on foot, from many attractions (and a major shopping area) in Budapest. This makes it very convenient for a family like us (with a baby) who had to frequently go back to the hotel.

Try the sauna.

Without a doubt, one of the nicest hotel I have ever stayed. Would recommend this hotel, especially if you don't speak hungarian. Great staff.

Super Zeit in Budapest
Der Concierge ist sensationell. Innert kürzester Zeit (weniger als 24 h) hatte er uns auf Deutsch für den 26. Dez. eine private Stadtführung organisert, welche sensationell war. Lage vom hotel,Frühstücksbuffet und die Zimmer (wir wurden upgegraded und konnten bereits um 10:00 Uhr die Zimmer beziehen) sind super.

Leider wurde meiner Mutter den Geldbeutel geklaut. Das Hotel (der Concierge) hat uns alles organisiert, obwohl wir schon ausgecheckt waren. Wo ist die Polizei, wo kann man die Photos machen Termin mit dem Konsulat organisiert etc. Wir haben an diesem Abend noch den Flug geschafft und konnten heimreisen. Ohne die sensationelle Unterstützung vom Hotel wäre das nicht möglich gewesen. Besten Dank nochmals an dieser stelle!
Airport Transfer war sehr angenehm und ebenfalls sehr gut organsisiert.
Restaurant Tip:
Gundel war super, aber auch relative teuer.
