A pleasant hotel on the Danube river's bank

the hotel is small, but very clean and pleasant. the room we stayed was big, bright and spacious, with a fridge, tv and (a little bit slow) wi-fi. the breakfast was good: coffee-machine, juices, fried eggs, cheese, cereals and other.
we esspecially liked the position of the hotel. it is on the danube river's bank, where you can walk down the river miles away. there are many people enjoying the nature, taking a fresh air, jogging, making a piqnique... it was a quite new experience in allways crowdy and noisy budapest.
Restaurant Tip:
You can eat very tasty Langos (Hungarian fast food)and ice-cream down the river.

Hotel charmant mais avec quelques défauts

J'ai passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel avec une équipe hors du commun.
Le seul problème relevé est que le wifi ne capte pas dans toutes les chambres. Sinon, rien de mauvais à signaler si ce n'est que du bonheur.
Je fais de cet hôtel mon hôtel de référence à Budapest.

Goed hotel, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel
groene omgeving, vlak achter de Donau. Openbaar vervoer vlakbij

double-twin-room gereserveerd. dat was echter niet vrij, dus kregen we twee éénpersoonskamers aangeboden voor dezelfde prijs. ik vond dat een goede deal, was tenslotte met en vriendin. anders hadden we een kamer met tweepersoonsbed gekregen. de bedden zijn goed. schoon beddegoed, en schone baddoeken. in de badkamer stamt de fohn samen met de prullenbak uit de periode beige-en-bruin,maar de rest is gerenoveerd, want helder wit. ferme douchstraal en lekker warm. ook de kamers waren erg warm gestookt (gewoon het raam open even opendoen) licht op de gang gaat aan als je de gang inkomt, dus men is energiebewust bezig.
het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
het ontbijt was voedzaam,al vond ik het niet zo lekker. er was brood, broodjes, kaas, worst, eieren, yoghurt en melk en diverse kraksels om er in te doen. jam, honing, boter. koffie thee en sap.
nadeel vond ik wel dat de reis naar de stad wel een half uur duurde. het openbaar vervoer is echter goed geregeld. maar dit nadeel was meteen weer een voordeel, want zo vlak bij de donau kun je prachtig wandelen langs de landelijke oever, waar volop strandtentjes waren, restaurantjes en cafeetjes, en strandstoelenverhuur etc. maar het was half oktober, en alles was al potdicht. dus in de omgeving alleen een (goede) pizzeria, en een taartentheehuis. ik vond het vervelend om dan na een hele dag rondlopen in de stad 's avonds weer het hele eind te moeten reizen. we hebben dus vaak in de "allegretto" gegeten, waar ze gelukkig ook andere dingen dan pizza's op het menu hadden staan.
conclusie: een prima hotel voor de prijs die je betaalt (erg weinig)en ik kan het u aanraden!
