Rila Hotel Budapest Info
Brightly renovated, this erstwhile worker's dorm has been converted into a comfortable budget hotel close to the city center. A few minute's walk from the nearest metro, the Rila Hotel is three stops from Pest's historic heart in a relatively quiet area. Rooms can accommodate singles up to quad travelers and the hotel often attracts business guests with conference facilities and an events hall onsite, plus parking for those with cars. There's a beer hall and wine cellar on the property to better facilitate the imbibing of Hungary's infamous local alcohols - a beer garden open in the warmer months adding to the ambience.

Nice employees, ok service. The room where ok standard but not more. The breakfast was unfortunately not so good and did not provide many differnt variations. The hotel is also a hostel and during our stay there were several schoolclasses in the hostel and they wheren´t so quiet as one could prefer. The hotel was ok for the price but don´t forget that it also is a hostel so it isn´t so quiet as you can think. The metro station is aproximately 5 minutes away if you walk so thats good and with the metro you will quickly get into central Budapest. If you want a cheap hotel then Rila is the one for you.
Travel tip : Metro station is close.

Parking on the street (2 reserved public places) for the Hotel at a rate of € 25 for two nights. This will not protect against theft or vandalism. The Hotel is not provided, on arrival, a hot or cold meals to serve take. Only breakfast is possible. The safe room should be paid extra. The rooms are just and well maintained, but not really great. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom. There is a lift of sorts.
Shopping Tip : In the vicinity there is a nice shopping center, but Prague is much more than that.
