ideal location for 'city'tourist

former communist hotels are usually situated well.this place is no exception.its grand exterior suggests a grand past,today the rooms are no more than adequate,functional rather than classy.this suited my purposes as i only want to sleep and wash there.the breakfastwas poor by western standards,which is to be expected.the restaurant was adequate but no more.more glamorous fare is to be had 50m away at a price.overall,great value for money,provided one does not have great expectations and see past the faded glory of the interior.not a businessmans hotel.the staff were efficient when asked for help

ikon restaurant was very good indeed and i ate there daily.great menu,great cookingand great wine list for my british tastes

Staff was ignorant, not helpful.
Room was not made up, no coffee at breakfast.
This is not a 3* hotel, I would give only 1*!
Disappointed after all, they should respect more a guest staying there for 6 nights long!

All'arrivo ci hanno dato 2 camere spaziose ma alle 15.00 erano sporche, da sistemare e con un odore nauseante.
Siamo tornati alle 17.00 e la situazione non era cambiata: tutto sporco e da sistemare.
Dopo una discussione ci hanno cambiato le camere ma ce ne hanno date 2 in cui non sapevi dove appoggiare le valige.
