It was convenient as all the tour and airport buses picked us up from the hotel. We did not need to fret about going to places we wanted to go.

I stay in Reykjavik for 10 day and stay in 3 hotels which all priced EUR 25-29 per night, only Cabin Hotel need to pay for the wifi at room in a expensive cost, the other two are free (most of the hotel in Reyjavik provided free wifi), the other hotels both located in downtown, but Canbin Hotel need to walk for 20 mins to downtown. The Rekjavik Visit Card is recommende.

The reception staff is very helpful and nice!

The price is included breakfast, but just a simple breakfast for us (ham, eggs, potato, milk, toast, biscuit and cheese....),
the rooms are small but tidy and comfortable and the location is good, just 20 mins walk to downtown, the staff is helpful and nice!
Shopping Tip:
N1 station, Subway is just opposite side of cabin hotel, and you can walk our by bus no. 12 to downtown.

Very good value for money
We had deluxe room on 6th floor.Very clean, and very quiet.

This hotel was very cheap to be in one of Europes capitals. The best value for money we have had any places. Even in Deluxe room. We got picked up every morning for the days excusions, so the location did less matter. Very close to official thermal swimming pools, only 5 minutes walk.Very quiet and clean. We will definitely stay hear next time we go to Iceland.

Visite the official thermal swimming pool, only 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

I think it is one of your best choise for staying in reykjavik.
And they have nice bus stop 'HOTEL CABIN', so very good access to downtowns.

We stayed for 3 nights in Deluxe room and the room was not so big but very clean and has enough amenity(towel, shower jell&shampoo, hair treatment and soap) but this hotel doesn't have a free internet service, so if you want it you have to pay at the front desk(we payed for 24h:2,000isk). 20 to 30 min walk to city centre and also you can take a bus near the hotel. Walking outside was soooooo hard in the cold and very windy season.
