Nice place, good location, very helpful staff
poor tv reception, slow internet connection, very weak mattresses
This is a pretty nice place in a good location just east of the city centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. The cons are poor tv reception (you only get BBC Wales and CNN International), a very slow internet connection and soft mattresses that offer little support.
Restaurant Tip : Tiu Droppar is a good place for breakfast less than a block and a half away.

We arrived to the hotel one day later than anticipated (the original booking was for 3 days but stayed 2) because our plane had mechanical problems and could not leave Oslo, Norway until the next day for our destination in Island. Upon arrival we heard from the administration that they had double booked and offered to send us to another hotel owned by the same owner. We went to the other hotel and after a number of attempts got to talk to the owner that lacked tact and diplomacy that would be expected in cases like this. My point was simple, if they had double booked it meant that they charged for the same room to two different parties. We had payed for the three days and only stayed two and on top of it not at the hotel we had booked, so I was asking for a reimbursement of the first night.
The owners' response was unsatisfactory, we were not happy customers and would not book in any of the hotels she owns again.

Extremely comfortable beds. Clean rooms. Excellent location- right off the main shopping street. Very helpful staff.
Showers were very tiny. You can't be too overweight to fit in them.
I really enjoyed my stay. Could not have picked a better location. Would definitely stay there again.
