Helpful staff
shuttle bus to downtown but should have at 1 or 2 pick up from city to hotel in the afternoon.

I booked 3 rooms with my credit cards. The hotel was fully booked for that particular date. One room was upgraded. The hotel should have given the better room to the person who booked it.

Great service, friendly staff, clean rooms.
Larger rooms than most, great breakfast.
9.3
We would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Reykjavik. A modern hotel with rooms larger than most European hotels and conveniently located on the bus lines for down town shopping and also close to a shopping mall. It is a major stopping point for all tours and is the bargain of Europe hotels. The breakfast is outstanding! We would definitely stay here again.
Travel tip:
Buy the bus pass if you intend to travel to/from downtown.

pretty satisfied with the service and cleanliness but the rooms were small.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Reykavik excursion company was pretty good. The company will pick-up and return guest to their hotels after the trip.

Lovely hotel
Spacious rooms, large buffet breakfast

Wifi in the room didn't work.. No explanation given.
Away from city center but shuttle bus available. With a rented car things were simple

Hotel needs updating, good service.
Good price with Agoda, good breakfast.

i have stayed at this hotel before, but probably will not in the future. it is about 2 miles from the center, on a bus route. hotel has transport about three times a day.
hotel is dated, but with contemporary finishes. the furniture is uncomfortable and old, the mattress is very soft.
the room i had this time had a clogged shower head, a cracked sink, which was very slow to drain. if i sat up in bed, the bed moved away from the fixed headboard. tv channels limited and no cnn.
breakfast buffet has a great selection, but the hot food runs out and is often barely warm.
this was a very good choice for the price i paid with agoda, but would have been a terrible choice if paying the rack rate.
if you want a comfortable room, look elsewhere.

the hotel is very good, but it is located too far from the center. there is a shuttle bus, but we wished more frequent shuttle.

Fantastic Hotel
Spa, Executive Upgrade, Breakfast
8.3
We stayed for 3 nights in an executive room and it was well worth the upgrade.
The room was quite functional with plenty of space, a nice bathroom and a great view.
The executive upgrade gave you free spa access which included a massage, free lounge access which included free beer all day, free open (self serve) bar in the evening and snacks all day. The beautiful view from the executive lounge was almost worth the upgrade price!
The distance from the city center appears to be a major issue but they have a flexible shuttle and the walk isn't bad at all.

Loved everything. Food available in lobby, as well as computer with Internet. Shuttle to downtown. Geothermal pool nearby.
Shopping Tip:
Grocery store right around the corner.
