Great location but low quality rooms.

out-of-date furnishings. poor internal communications. very noisy as no sound proofing and had to relocate room to rear side. large bar next door which closes at 0600hrs on sat. morning and 0400hrs on sunday morning. heavy traffic soung all night. breakfast in a bakers shop down the road and only after 0815hrs. do not recommend this to others as there are several good alternative facilities nearby.
Shopping Tip: Beware that Iceland air does not serve a meal during flight unless you pay extra.

Central Location - above Pizza restaurant

Opposite the main shopping street in Rekyves

nice rooms in the middle of rekyves and opposite to the main shopping street. the staff spoke excellent english and very friendly. guesthouse is above the italian pizza restaurant but very quiet. directly opposite is a fine lobster restaurant that is a must try when in rekyves.
