The stay was perfect, one thing that we found dusturbing was that if/when you come late to the hotel the front door is locked and you have to ring the bell and wait for the door man to open, which is great for security because that way wierdose don't enter you hotel at night but one evening we had to wait in the cold for 5-10min untill someone came to open the front door :/
Nightlife Tip: Go out early! Pubs/clubs/etc close early around 2am...

Great location, decent rooms

Good staff, location
8.7
The Blooms hotel is a good hotel, very basic, but everything that one could want. It is in Temple Bar and probably at the edge of the area which is good because the area can get loud. I arrived early, before noon, and they let me check in early which really was very good of them. They have a very nice bar restaurant which has live entertainment, which I didn't hear in my room. The staff were very friendly, they were very professional, efficient and were knowledgeable about places of interest for tourists.

Great location and facility, nice reception

Near bus stop and closed to many nice Irish bars

Very closed to the bus stop for airport. In the central Irish temple bar area, but its location is quite and very safe. The facility inside is very good, and the Irish style bar downstairs is great with live show. Also walking distance to the historical area and shopping area.

lovely hotel with one of the best locations

close to Temple Bar area
8.3
Blooms Hotel is conveniently located one short street away from the Temple Bar area, where all the nightlife and clubbing action takes place. Extremely convenient location to all facilities and attractions as many buses start from nearby streets. Hotel itself was pleasant and comfortable, with helpful staff, clean facilities and bright rooms. Only caveat being noise from party-goers into the wee hours of the morning. Overall an excellent hotel that is value for money, particularly for holiday makers looking to party.

Good bar in hotel with live music

Friendly reception staff, gave free drink voucher on check in. Room large and clean but furnishings a bit tired, but overall good value for money.

Blooms

Locality
7.3
Blooms is easy to find if you know the area. (Gogaraty's is a good signpost). It's locality to airport bus drop off and Dublin culture is great. The internet was not available in my room, I could only connect in the small foyer area. There are no coffee / tea making facilities in the room or the foyer (to my knowledge). Staff were very helpful. I did have a problem with an email I had sent to the hotel using their website, not being answered. But all was OK on arrival.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: A block away towards the River, The Auld Dubliner & Gogaraty's play irish music during the day.

Delightful in Dublin

Excellent location, comfortable rooms, FREE wireless Internet connection, excellent pub on premises and restaurants/shops in same block. Excellent security, parking garage nearby.

This hotel is not too easy to find - on a small side street, but it's location is easy for taxi drivers, being located a block from Trinity College. The staff was very helpful and friendly. All of Dublin was friendly and easy to get around in, but bring an umbrella! The rooms were of adequate size, and a substantial hot breakfast is included with the room price. A lovely Irish pub is part of the building, and serves light meals as well as the usual great collection of beer, spirits, and friendly patrons. The facility is very clean, with comfortable beds, television and telephones in the rooms. Overall it delivered excellent service and accommodations for a reasonable price.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Everything is really in walking distance (2-3km) of the hotel. The Guinness 'factory' tour was not very interesting, unless you nothing at all about making beer. The Old Jameson Distillery tour, on the other hand, was very informative, interesting and entertaining. There are many fine churches in the area to view, as well as Trinity College, which could take a day by itself. Get a street map with the main attractions identified (available from the front desk) and just walk around. Everything is closer than you would think by U.S. standards for city size. Taxis and bus service are readily available if you prefer, or just for the return trip from a walking tour.
