Thomas S. Couples Australia, June 13, 2011	OK location, very small and noisy rooms! Breakfast 6.3 Location of the hotel was OK. It was about 10-15 min walk from Template Bar area. It was about 5 min walk from a place to catch the Hop-on/hop-off dublin bus tour. Breakfast in the morning was good. Only issues was that it is a very noisy area, and we heard people throughout the night (it was a saturday night!) until about 6am signing and dancing down the street and in the bar downstairs. Also the room was very small, and we had to open our bags on the bed.
Mei Z. Groups Malaysia, October 16, 2009	Celtic Lodge Dublin Well located 3.7 The hotel is well located. There are free transfers from airport to hotel and vice versa. But upon landing at the airport no one is able to give direction, thus had to pay for the transfer. But they do the free transfer for hotel to airport at alternate hrs. As for the room, it is very small compared to others around that area and I didnt find it clean as you can see thick cobwebs on top of the door and ceilings. The beds/mattress was very worn off and out of shape. I was expecting a call and the night gurad a gentlemen did not speak or understand English well despite me telling him I am expecting a call and my friend had to call a few times informing him the room number but he kept insisting on making reservations. Puzzles me as Dublin is English speaking and they have a guy who doesnt speak English doing his duty and not able to undersatnd and speak fluently. Breakfast was reasonable but service was so so. Restaurant Tip: Good restaurant just beside the Celtic serves good Irish stew and Beef with Ale!!!
Anders U. Couples Sweden, April 30, 2012	Jättebra läge och en standard som är helt OK Centralt läge, ganska lugnt. Avstånd till shopping och pubar liksom lokalbuss och -tåg väldigt bra. 7.7 Vi, två medelålders par, åkte till Dublin för att koppla av med lite sevärdheter, shopping och nattliv modell "light". Vi ville bo centralt, dvs gångavstånd till både shopping och pubar. Hotellet skulle heller inte vara för dyrt, man ska ju ändå mest bara sova där - eller hur? Vi fick vad vi sökte och tyckte att standard och läge väl motsvarade kostnaden. Rummen var helt OK vad gäller storlek och utrustning, de var fräscha och välvårdade med egen toa/dusch. Lite lyhördhet får man stå ut med på brittiska hotell, verkar det som, liksom lite ljud från intilliggande barer. Första morgonen blev det kö till frukosten, beroende på viss underkapacitet på frukostmatsalen. Inget större problem ändå, det tog oss kanske 10 minuter extra. Restaurant Tip: The Church Bar är mycket mer besöksvärd än den omtalade Temple Bar. Fräsch mat och en fantastisk miljö i den till pub/bar ombyggda kyrkan.
