Bij het boeken van ons verblijf wilden we eens weten wat een hostel precies betekende. Naderhand bekeken is het een studentenverblijf. Dit is nuttig om weten voor alle mensen die ook eens de challenge willen aangaan.
Restaurant Tip:
In de nabijheid van het Stephen's green begint het eigenlijke centrum. Je vind er het ene restaurant na het andere. Opgelet de prijzen varieren enorm en dan spreek ik niet alleen over de 10% fooi die je geeft. Wij zijn spagetti gaan eten, met een dessertje en wat koffie : 75 euro... Anderzijds zijn we ook heerlijk gaan eten in een restaurant met een 3gangen menu, waar we 48.60 euro betaald (inclusief de wijn). Goed bestuderen wat de prijzen zijn, is de boodschap

Perustason hostelli Duplinissa kävelymatkan päässä ydinkeskustasta. Omistaja mukava, ilmeisesti espanjalaistaustainen. Ystvällinen ainakin meille. Hostellissa oli keittiö sekä oleskeluhuone, jossa maksullinen biljardipöytä, tv sekä sohvia. Keittiö suhteellisen hyvin varustettu, mutta siisteustasossa huomattavasti parannettavaa. Suihkun siisteys oli suhteellisen hyvä, mutta roskakorit lähes joka paikassa täynnä, joissa lenteli jo kärpäsiä. Vaihtoehtohostelli yhden-kahden yön viipymiseen. Huone ok.
