Duncan H. Business travelers Canada, April 30, 2013	Was expecting more Location, location, location 6.7 My stay at La Stampa was comfortable. The staff was very friendly, and the location in the city is excellent for being able to walk to many areas. As a 4 star hotel however I was expecting more from this boutique hotel. It is a little odd to walk through the bar to get to the lifts for the rooms but the area where I was let down was the general decor. The place has not been refurbished in many years and is in need of an overhaul. The room sizes, layout, staff, etc is generally all fine but the threadbare carpet, nicks in walls, etc is not what you expect of a 4 star hotel for the price. The breakfast in the morning leaves a lot to be desired as well... There was 1 table (4 person table) with various rolls, meats, juices, etc but this is not enough for all the guests and didn't seem to be replenished once food was taken.

Wir haben dieses Hotel im Rahmen einer Inseltour für unsere zwei letzten Urlaubstage vor Abreise gebucht. Besonders angetan waren wir beim Check In von dem sehr zuvorkommenden Personal. Da wir etwa eine halbe Stunde bevor unsere Zimmer planmässig bezogen werden konnten bereits angekommen waren, haben wir die Bar aufgesucht um etwas zu snacken. Die Bar ist wirklich extrem schön eingerichtet, das Essen sehr gut. Die Weinauswahl hat unseren GEschmack getroffen. Die Zimmer sind mit einem asiatischen Hauch sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer ist sehr sauber, die Kosmetika haben uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Alles scheint neu renoviert zu sein. Das Hotel eignet sich besonders für Gäste, die die Stadt zu Fuß erkunden möchten. Die Shoppingmeile ist sozusagen die Parallelstrasse zum Hotel. Unbedingt empfehlenswert ist eine Viking Splash Tour. Diese beginnt in der St. Stephans Street, ca. 150 m vom Hotel entfernt. Alles in allem war dies die beste Adresse für unsere 10 tägige Tour durch den Norden der Insel. Wir möchten in naher Zukunft erneut nach Dublin da die Zeit von zwei Tagen viel zu kurz für die Stadt und Shopping gewesen ist. Dieses Hotel buchen wir auf jeden Fall wieder! 10

Fri WiFi. 7.3 Vi hade en natt i Dublin innan vi skulle vidare. Bra läge, trevlig personal, rummet var bra med bra utrymme. Ingen utsikt att tala om. Deras bar är riktigt läcker och tydligen maten de serverar, vi tog endast en drink. Varning-ta INTE den prisbelönta coctail de serverar. Den påminde om lervatten och smakade därefter...
