this place is cheap, clean and receptionist is friendly. this is all about location, good for shopping, restaurant and clubbing. a few negative things are the hotel share the same front desk with another hotel which mean you have to go to a differently place to check in. it's quite a challenge to find your room since it's in a different building. there are no lift either which i dont mind at first but it can be a bit of a pain when you are drunk and tired from a long night out.

A simple budget hotel, excellently located
Excellent location in the city centre
Good price

The hotel is located on the crossroad of the Lower Mercer Street and the Kings Street, in front of the shopping centre Stephen's Green. Normally, it is used as a students' lodging house and the equipment is very simple, maybe too simple (i.e. no place for personal belongings in the bathroom). On the other side, the room price was accordingly low so that we didn't expect any comfort. Moreover, the hotel is excellently located and everything of interest is within a walking distance: 10 minutes walk to Temple Bar, 15 minutes walk to O'Connell Street, ... If you want to use this hotel room as a dormitory only (in fact it is nothing else) and are ready to have your breakfast outside the hotel (Dublin's pubs offer breakfasts all day long!), then I can recommend you to book that.
