Great location

right in heart of city, clean and comfortable

was worried staying here after some of the reviews, but room was spotless, bathroom was small but beds very comfortable. as price suggests not luxuary stay but great for touring or in our case for a night on the town.
Nightlife Tip: able to walk to best bars as taxis need drive long way around so rip of.

Budget hotel, budget service

Location should have been good, but there were major bridgeworks directly in front of the hotel.

We had asked for a quiet room and were given the remotest room in the hotel - top floor and at the back. We had 60 steps to climb up and down and couldn't manage our luggage, which we received assistance with. The room was small and very budget with double bed against wall to fit into room. Decor was old and in need of repair.Breakfast was also basic, bread for toast still in plastic bag. Staff helped when asked but lacked friendliness and a sense of hospitality. We enjoyed Dublin but felt as if we were camping in this hotel.Wouldn't go there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: We went to the free Irish dancing in the Arlington Hotel in the Temple area and loved it. Got there early to get a good seat in the bar, enjoyed our meal and drinks with them, then joined in the fun with the good Irish entertainment which came later.

Not bad

Location and the service!!

I read the review and though it was gonna be very bad, but we arrived there and the people at the reception were brilliant, nice and service minded. The room was alright. but the bathroom was a bit smelly. I think it came from the drain, but nothing to worry about....the bathroom was very tiny also, but for backpackers, low budget travelers, girls tour and boys tour, this was fantastic!! We were an adult couple and thought it was good value! We did not try the food, but a very cosy restaurant they have
