Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Lovely hotel centrally located but a bit pricey
Comfortable room, central location and delicious food.
7.3
The hotel was excellent and i would highly recommend it if you can afford it but had a few issues with incorrect charges on my room bill. On arrival I was told the room was inclusive of breakfast but on the second morning on the way to breakfast I contacted reception about being charged for the previous morning breakfast and was told it wasn't included. The receptionist took bit of time to convince it was their mistake but did remove it and told me that I would have to pay for that mornings breakfast. Considering the heritage junior suite I was staying in cost €600 a night it was a bit steep. Also the room was slightly strange as the floor sloped on the way in and the layout of the room wasn't suited to take full advantage of comfort. TV's were unable to be watched unless you stood in the sitting room and bedroom. Was unable to change room either night also. Staff did a beautiful turn down service tho with rosé petals

Superlative Hotel where Irish History Lives !
Location, Its History, Accomodation, Surroundings
10
At the Shelbourne the guest is surrounded by history. Presidents, Prime Ministers, screen and theatre legends have all stayed here. The Irish Constitution was signed in Room 122. And it's all immaculately kept. The restaurants and bars are sensational. The rooms are truly the size they claim to be, as are the beds and the other facilities equally matching in its five - star quality. The staff is clearly aware of the hotel's place in history, but are friendly in a real way as one would expect in Ireland. Located in the very centre of Dublin, most attractions are just a few steps away. Truly a delight ! ! !
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close to everything: shopping, fine dining, theatres, government offices.

we stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon and were treated like vip guests by all the staff. this historical hotel has been restored to all its glory and was full of charm, from the gingerbread house at reception to the christmas tree by the fireplace we loved it all. the rooms were spacious and bed was extremely comfortable. just a 2 minute stroll to grafton street we really couldn't fault this hotel!
