This stately Georgian Hotel offers an elegantly old-fashioned environment right in the middle of Dublin. A block from the Liffey and moments from O'Connell Street, the Wynn's Hotel has been around since 1845 and provides a level of refinement and class befitting its history. The hotel's interiors are decorated in a suitably classical style with wooden sleigh beds and wooden armoires, while the onsite restaurant is an ambient recreation of the dining halls of yesteryear. For nightlife, visitors will find the pubs of Temple Bar conveniently located just across the river while theaters and restaurants are also well within walking range. Those using public transport can make use of the tram stop at the front of the hotel and the buses stop around the corner on O'Donnell Street, a straight-forward trip for those arriving from the airport by coach.

Definitely value for money at around £70

It may describe itself as a three star hotel but Wynns definitely trades at the budget hotel standards. It doesn't rate compared to other hotels in the area but is of a reasonable standard for around £70 per night including breakfast. Nice staff and efficient. Be aware if you go at the weekends you will hear the nightclub right up through the hotel until the early hours

Nice older hotel

The location was convenient to most of downtown Ireland. It is right off the tran route and just down the road from the bus station. It is an older hotel but has character. The breakfast was included and it was wonderful. It included a continental breakfast bar as well as a menu of hot to order items. Very reasonable accomidations for the price. I would stay there again.
