This property is described as a hotel and it is not. It is a purpose built guesthouse. When you book a stay at a hotel you expect a HOTEL. The guesthouse is comfortable and the breakfast was good but it is not a hotel. I was extremely disappointed that I was mislead when booking.

A little shabby, i.e. well-worn, but generally clean and comfortable. Not quite 4 star but better than 3 star. The hot water seemed far too hot, making a shower very difficult - we had room 25. Breakfast very good and staff friendly & helpful albeit a little untrained.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Kylemore Abbey well within reach and excellent, restaurants in Westport very good.

Hi,
my partner and I just returned from a brief stay at this venue in Westport. Good value stay over the weekend. Spacious room with good facilities.This guesthouse is only 10 min walking distance from the centre of Westport and has ample parking. A major plus are the views to the front of the house.Tons of fresh fruit for breakfast and nice options on cooked breakfast.All in all would gladly stay again.
