Ambasciatori Hotel, Florence

We had a lovely stay,the staff were obliging, the room was immaculate. The view from our room: superb. Central location, very close to the train station. The only criticism is that there is building work in a nearby building (but okay if windows shut). Our room was also a bit too warm (there seemed to be no way of moderating heating system). I would definitely return

in general the hotel is clean and the staff are helpful, it is for those who are on the run all day in thier business comitments or visiting Flourance points of attraction. the only thing was really frustrating the non-availability of lundery service, on my arrival evening as I was getting ready for my meeting in the next morning, I needed an iron and ironing board for pressing my suite and shirt which I will be wearing in the morning, no urgent lundary service around the hotel. the only solution is to go in the morning and look for a shop where I can purchase an Iron. It was funny and frustrating for some one running around and asking people where I can get an Iron, however, I found one and made it to the meeting late but looking good!!!!!!!!!! little things means alot

The location near the train station made it easy for day trips. the staff is very helpful.
