The Ariele Hotel in downtown Florence features 44 huge rooms with large comfortable king size beds and ample space to unwind and relax. Close to all the great museums and attractions this charming hotel has all the right ingredients for a tasty stay in Florence. A beautiful garden surrounds the shady and cool courtyard while inside the huge breakfast room is adorned with an amazing array of art both contemporary and period. Guests can stroll along the banks of The Arno to any of the cities wonderful restaurants, cafes and museums within at most a 10 minute walk. Prompt and efficient staff is happy to provide fine coffee or wine as-well as any of the cuisine on offer from the fantastic menu.

Very clean. Quiet location Helpful Reasonable situation.

There were no signs to indicate the loaction of rooms when leaving the lift and the room numbers did not follow the normal hotel pattern of 100s on floor 1 and 200s on foor 2 etc. It also appeared that only even numbers were used.

The Ariele is a small hotel located in a quiet street, 400 metres from the river and 15 minutes walk from the main railway station. Like all buildings in Florence it is old, and has been converted to provide bedrooms with rather small en suite facilities. Dining room, lounge, bedrooms and bathroom were very clean and offered very adequate facilities for visitors. The inclusive buffet breakfast was kept replenished but the range of food offered was not as good as other hotel breakfasts on our tour. It was good value for money and the location was fine unless you were relying on public transport. Staff spoke good Eglish and were very helpful. Our room was available on arrival well before the stated check in time.

Restaurant Tip : It is in a quite area with only a few restaurants within walking distance.
