It was a fine budget hotel - despite old furniture, overall the hotel was clean, located in good location. If you just want a place to sleep at night, it will be fine for you.

Horrible hostel with misleading photos
the only good thing about this hostel is the location.

The staff was rude. The hostel is very old and the furniture makes it a little bit horrifying like a horror movie. The light is always off in the corridor, which makes people hard to see the path to the room.

no frills b&b at great location
convenient from train station and to most tourist places within walking distance and a self service washine machine right at the corner!

our stay at casa billi was for four nights and the check in was quick after carrying our luggage to the third floor where they are located. there was a lift available but not able to use it. i think it should be sorted out soon as it may be a problem for those who are unable to carry the luggage up.
our room was big with basic amenities like wardrobe, empty mini fridge, tv and aircon (was working well and silent) though the room was big, there is no table in our room if we need to consume food inside. wifi signal was strong too.
plus point was the toilet that was recently renovated and clean. though most of the toilet facilities was new, our towels and toilet papers were not replaced by new one even though they provide daily house keeping. so in the end by the last day we have to use our own tissue to clean and re-use the towels from 1st night till last night.
we were given keys to the apartment and building so we can come and go at whatever time we want. coming back at night make sure you walk carefully on the stairs cos somehow the lights are close at night and it pretty dark to walk up. for switches to the lights, you got to on manually after manoeuvrings in the dark on the first flight of steps located on the side walls. pretty creepy though.
apart from the above, the stay at casa billi was acceptable for no frills stay. it makes up for the convenience of its location and plenty of good food round the corner and every step you take.

Near to tram station and the staff is very nice and helpful. Wifi is excellent and there is supermarket and restaurant nearby

shared bathroom which was clean and wasn't a drama. air con didn't work consistently but wasn't an issue, had window or just turned on again. breakfast is additional cost - didn't do this so unsure of quality. rooms cleaned daily. laundry within 20m.

We had 2 days of decent stay at this place. Room was good and clean. The owners were friendly during the very few occasions that we met. Wifi in the room was not very good but there was a PC outside the room if one needs fast Internet access.

great location but no lift

the room provided to us was meant to sleep 3 but it did not look bigger than the double room we booked. perhaps it was the location of the room at the far corner that made it look darker than normal. we saw a double room across from us that was the double room that looked alot brighter and what we were expecting.
overall, the location was fantastic. it was about 7 mins walk from the smn train termini and was in the middle of the markets area. the rooms were clean and decent for a b&b place.
however, if you have big/luggages, please be aware that you have to climb one floor with about 4 flights of stairs in order to reach the entrance. the elevator in the building is not for casa billi usage it seems so that's a sad point. also, please note the place does not provide kettle so you have to get your own drinking water but they do provide a coffee machine at the reception that you have to insert coins to purchase. the wifi was great and no complains about the reception from my iphone.
Shopping Tip:
Just 1 min walk away is the central market where you can get great food stuff like pasta, olive oil, balsamic at a much lower price than from other shops at the tourist area so get your purchases there!
