Paintings and framed prints line every wall and breakfast is served by candlelight in the Cellai�s intimate dining room, while bar service and district views are available in the rooftop garden. In terms of sightseeing, the Duomo is a 15-minute walk from the Cellai and the Gallerie dell�Accademia (where Michelangelo�s David lives) is only a few blocks away, while trips into wine country or to the designer outlets in nearby Leccio (�The Mall�) can happily be arranged by staff.

Lovely, classy decor, very warm and helpful staff. Away enough from but close enough to the intense hubbub of Florence.
Our first room was impossibly small. I couldn't have stayed in it. There was an alternative, fortunately and we were moved.
The room cleaning staff didn't do such a tidy job compared to what we are used to. The floor wasn't vacuumed, the bed was made a touch sloppy, things that were on the floor that should have been recognized as trash were just left there.
I recommend this hotel as long as your room is big enough. The first room we were given was intoleralby small. We were given a larger one on request, as there was one available.
Its staff are very cordial and helpful. You are not made to feel like an imposition at all. The decor of the hotel was lovely throughout. Breakafast was pretty good. Its location is excellent in my view, close enough to but far enough from the intense hubbub of Florence. I would be happy to stay at the Hotel Cellai again.
Hotel Feature Tip : Make sure your room is not the smallest one in the house.
