The Consigli is in an excellent position overlooking the Arno right next to the American army base ensuring a safe and secure stay in Florence. The hotel itself is a gloriously large house, with high vaulted ceilings and huge sash windows. Espresso coffee and breakfast is served in a delightful sundrenched room, echoing the heritage of this lovely building. A rooftop terrace is a great place to unwind and enjoy a glass of fine wine overlooking the river and the city beyond. This former Renaissance banker�s home has retained all its sophistication and charm, allowing guests to enjoy the spirit of Florentine lifestyle.

There internet connection does not work optimally.
Consigli Hotel is an incredibly beautiful building, rooms are clean and nice. It is straight down to the Arno River, with a beautiful terrace and it is close to the station and within walking distance from Ponte Vecchio and other attractions. The hotel is a little worn, but we did not experience that something was not working. The staff is incredibly helpful -
Travel tip : Florence is a beautiful city, whether you are sightseeing or shopping.
