We ended up at the Hotel Lungarno. Great view of the Arno and Ponte Vecchio. Very nice staff all around!
We didn't get to stay at the hotel of first choice which is a great property. In room 102 - nice view but the speaker from the lobby lounge below piped unwanted music into our room!!
We received an email only 2 weeks before we were supposed to check in that the hotel would be closed for "renovation" when we were confirmed there. But Agoda and The Lungarno Hotels did an amazing job of communicating with us and confirming us in another of the company's hotels. We received a free upgrade for the inconvenience. Nicly done!!
