Enjoy the wonders of Florence from this centrally located hotel that was once a Renaissance palace. This meticulously restored building was reopened as the Hotel Cardinal of Florence in 2004, and today offers guests a level of service and luxury that rivals that enjoyed by her original owners. Situated on one of Florence's oldest access roads, Via Borgo Pinti, just behind the magnificent Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiori, guests can easily explore the sites and attractions of Italy's most famous renaissance city on foot. The afore mentioned cathedral is one of the city's most breathtaking attractions, and is not to be missed. The first stone was laid in 1296, and it was not until 1436 that the dome was completed, and was the first octagonal dome in history. The location and rich history of the hotel, makes it a superb choice for visitors wishing to experience the romance of the Tuscan capital.
From July 1st the City of Florence will introduce the tourism tax, applied to non-residents overnight staying, for a maximum of 10 consecutive nights. The tourism tax rate is in accordance to local regulations and to be paid directly at the hotel: 3 Euro
Children and extra beds:- Extra beds are dependent on the room you choose, please check the individual room policy for more details.

Good location but will not return
5.7
the hotel is very well located and the room is big and nice. but the staff will not help at all, the hotel is on a third floor and there is not elevator, ofcourse they do not help you with your suitcases. breakfast is not good just average. also they say they have parking and when i book there was a picture that shows it, but the real thing is that is a parking lot that they have to come and pick up your car, ofcourse you have to as and extra 25 eu to your day. the room is good but to expensive if you take in account all the cons that we just mention. for that money look for another hotel.

The location of the hotel was perfect for seeing all of Florence and the view from both sides of the hotel was very special, the only down side was the 63 steps fom the car park.
The breakfast was just right.
The room was perfect for three people.
Would be the best place we stayed on our trip.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close to every thing.

Centralissimo zona quasi off limite per l'auto
Posizione e cortesia, atmosfera familiare
7.7
Hotel Feature Tip:
prenotate il park
