Great location but small room

Hotel is located within 5 minutes of the main train station. Rates are high for weekend stay (paid around 160 euros per night for a double room), but definitely worth staying on a weekday (around 110 euros per night). Vending machine available at hotel, providing refreshments at an affordable rate. Shower cubicle is a tad too small.

Great hotels rooms are big for triple shading

It was a great hotel stay . We had a double n triple room booking.
The double room was tiny but the triple was huge.
The bathroom in a doubleroom do not provide much space to
Move ard. But overall hotel is value got money. Breakfast is great

Hotel is very clean, newly renovated with some modern touch but still leaving behind some traditional italian feeling. I loved my ceiling inside the room. The room itself is pretty spacious, the bathroom is pretty small but still okay for me. Wifi is not free, there is a one time fee that you must pay.

out of all the hotels (2-3 star) we stayed in 12 days in italy, rosso23 had the cleanest rooms, looked the newest and most contemporary. the breakfast was limited but very good and tasty. and it's right at the square of the one of the main attractions in florence, all 5 minutes walking distance from the station.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
In rushing to see the main sights (which is about 10 minutes away), don't forget you have a tourist attraction right at your doorstep.

The hotel is great. Beautiful location close to Santa Maria Novella. Charming place. Great modern deco.
But the size of the room is super tiny for the price we paid, and we had a view on an ugly interior courtyard, meaning no light, and not privacy at all.
Last but not least, because the hotel is located in the ZTL area (no car allowed), if you happen to travel in Italy with your own car, the hotel will charge you 30 EURO / night to park your car... That's not good.
