The hotel is located in a great location where shopping and sightseeing attractions are within 5 to 10 minutes walk. The hotel room is very spacious and it's nicely fitted out. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. We got a free upgrade to the Junior Suite because it's our first time to Florence.

This lovely hotel is very convenient and within short walking distance to most attractions. The rooms are large and comfortable with simple yet modern furnishings. The breakfast was average and definitely room for improvement. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely return for my next visit to Florence.

We booked this hotel following a recommendation from friends and found it met all our expectations. One of the oldest hotels in Italy but refurbished to provide accommodation of a high standard. The central location made sightseeing so much easier. All the staff were friendly and courteous, the beds were comfortable and a very good breakfast was available. We would have appreciated tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom which some other hotels in Tuscany provided.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Be sure to visit the Palazzo Davanzati which is a short step away from the hotel.

i loved the hotel. the location is perfect, walking distance from all the main attractions that a first time visitor in florence would want to see. the staff are exceptionally friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable.
my only criticism is that you have to pay for wifi in your room (though it is free in the lobby)

our stay at the nh porta rosa was one of the best in italy! on our 10 day trip this was by far the best hotel! the breakfast was delicious, service was helpful and room was gorgeous! lets not forget about the location!

El hotel está en pleno centro, para ir andando por todo el centro de Florencia y poder volver cuando se quiera a la habitación para descansar o lo que se necesite. Las habitaciones y decoración son totalmente modernas y minimalistas, pero enmarcadas en el encanto de un antiguo palacio Florentino con vidrieras antiguas. En la recepción la mayoría de las personas hablaban Español. Teníamos una habitación superior y nos gustó mucho, aunque al segundo día pedimos que nos la cambiaran porque daba a un patio interior en el que se oían las máquinas de aire acondicionado y no era agradable.
El desayuno estaba bastante bien para ser Italia, aunque los NH hoteles en España tienen un desayuno muchísimo mejor.

Très bel hôtel situé en plein centre de la ville. Le personnel est disponible, ils réservent des restaurants si vous le souhaitez. Notre chambre était très grande, non bruyante. Petit dejeuner correct dans un très beau cadre. Hôtel que je recommande vivement !!!!!
