The staff was outstandingly helpful. The rooms were fresh and clean (although somewhat small). It was fine for two people. We were really pleased overall with our selection

The rooms were small, but that was what we expected.

We made our reservatoions through Agoda and although I hadn't gotten my confirmation printout, when we arrived early, the staff/manager knew us when we walked in. We were gladly given our keys early so that we could stow our luggage and be on our way to a wonderful day in Florence. As we were leaving we ask for some directions and were given a very clearly marked map and given a suggestion for a route to take. We came in and out a few time and everytime were greeted with a friendly "hello". When we asked for additional directions, they were given promptly with a smile. Before we left for our evening at the local Opera, we had a drink in the Bar and were very pleased with the service and offerings. In the morning before we left we had the breakfast offered with the hotel stay. It was outstanding and we enjoyed it immensely. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Florence. It may not work, because of the size for an extended stay, but for our purposes it was exceptional.

Shopping Tip : There is an an English bookstore a couple of blocks away with some great older titles as well as new ones.

1. Located near to the Train Station and the bus station that will bring you to The Mall for some luxury shopping at great discount! 2. Comfy beds 3. Relative spacious room (compared to Milan and Venice) 4. The hotel has suprisingly prepared the bed for the night with a chocolate on the bed. A nice touch!

1. Confusing heater system. We slept in the room in the first night w/o heater. But, I have to say the room is not cold. So it was ok in the first night. 2. No other complaint.

The hotel is centrally located, with easy access to the train and bus station. It is also within walking distance to the many tourist attractions in Florence. The room is fairly new, even comes with a LCD with CNN. The bed is comfy and comes with a sweet turndown service with a piece of chocolate. An amazing touch for a 4-star hotel. Our stay is value-for-money given the above attributes.

No free parking it costs 15 euro a day. It is discounted from the regular price of 20 Euro

The location was great. The hotel is really close to the centre of the city. The breakfast was good and very fresh. The room was good size by European standard. I have found the front desk staff more than helpful and quite candidly, better than the service provided in some concierge desks at 5 star hotels.The internet is free, a rarity in Europe.No free parking it costs 15 euro a day. Restaurant Tip : Restaurant Belcore 1.5 block from the hotel. one of the best in Florence.

Huge room, very clean and near new refurbishment.

A short walk from the main square - but it was along the river so nice anyway.

The hotel was great. We had a huge room with a balcony where we could see the river. The area was okay and it was a 10-15 minute walk to the main square. Fantastic place to stay and would stay there again.

Shopping Tip : Go to the leather market behind the main piazza/duomo.

Staff very helpful and pleasant. Nearness to the center and especially to the station. Comfortable and clean. All well and good except ...

The breakfast bread and juice.

Looking out the bedroom window, gray skies and drizzle predicted a sad day in the wonderful city of Florence, the smiles of the waitresses when he goes down to breakfast and the receptionist to hand over the key encouraged me, but out of the hotel the drizzle had turned into a downpour, I walked around Florence under my black umbrella on my shoes and increasingly wet. After enjoying the fabulous Bistecca alla Fiorentina accompanied with potatoes in a sensational Arrosto Trattoria Via del Proconsolo art I soak in the Uffizi Gallery and on leaving it the rain had stopped, I remembered the smiles that morning and I encouraged to continue enjoying this wonderful city. Around midnight when I returned to the hotel receptionist asked me: Come ha fatto bene il giorno? to what I had sincerely topic screens with a lamentable voice: Mille Grazie, è stato uno dei giorni più felici della mia vita.

Travel tip : Continue like this, but if possible improving the issue of juice and bread.

Close to SMN station. At around the Internet and that many meals.

Beyond the bus station from the station, a pain in the near split in the middle of the road will also cross.
