This apartment is look modern and quite new. feel comfortable in staying here more than one night. Full facilities in the room. Just one concern, there is no change for towels though we stay more than one night. The location, it is quite too far from the road, have to walk for 5 miniuts to reach the tram.
There is a supermarket and restaurants not too far from this apartment, so convenient for food and stuffs.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Duomo is the MUST place to visit.

mosquite suffers but vauable

Budget price for long stay in Milan, good for budget travelers but not good for people for any luxury atmosphere. We suffered mosquitoes in the room, had to kill 10 or 12 before sleeping, My kids was suffered from 20 or 25 bites by them during the second night. The front person just suggested a spray, but it was too strong for kids. I bought a vape liquid in a Carrefore express and came easy though. The lady staff was friendly and accepted our late check out, it is appreciated. This is just resident and not hotel, and not provide 24hr services.

location was good, walking distance from tram station. supermarket was 10 minutes walking away.
room was large, but ac was very weak and it was very hot in june. i would not recommend staying here during summer.
staff was very kind and speaks good english.

We stayed there for 3 nights. Dishes and kitchen stuff made our stay easy.
You can go to the super market by 10m walk.
A bit far from the central but tram station is pretty close.

Big & clean rooms, good kitchen facilities, friendly staff - comfortable like at home.

location is the most weak point: 10-minute walking to trum station (not safe for girls at night), far from downtown sightseeing / shopping places, 18 euro dollar of taxi fare to central station, next to graveyard & trum lines (noises).
it could be value for money, if you drive by yourself or have more then 4 persons. otherwise, i won't suggest tourists to choose it - especially girls and night-life people.

Great value for money, friendly service, huge flat

residenzia calvino was a very nice hotel, situated just behind the cimitero monumentale (which is a fabulous place to visit, as it is like going to a free art gallery and museum of architecture and design at the same time). the staff behind the main desk were very helpful, giving me a map and directions to whatever i wanted to see/do. the lobby was very modern-looking and clean, with a couple of machines selling snacks and drinks (although there are at least 3 supermarkets within about a 10-minute walk of the hotel). and the flat was bigger than the one i live in currently! it was also modern in appearance, with all the conveniences one would need when spending a few days or weeks in milan (including a washing machine, plates, pots, hairdryer, wifi etc.).
my only negative comment is that the hotel is a bit far from the heart of the city centre, taking a good 20-25 minutes to walk to station garibaldi to get a train or metro. however, the tram is only a 10-minute walk away, which gets you into the city centre in no time.
in all, i would definitely recommend this hotel if you're staying in milan and want to get away from the touristic centre at night, after having spent the day in it with other tourists. and it's amazing value for money :)
Restaurant Tip:
If you like slow food, try eating at Osteria del Treno, Via San Gregorio 46, and ask to sit in the old hall. It's a memorable experience.

New hotel, big apartment, great room!

It was a lovely new hotel, the room was really spacious with a hall, bathroom, bedroom, living & kitchen. The apartment is full equipped with appliances and electronics & even a massage chair! Very comfortable & clean room.
However, the hotel is located very near to the rail, so you can hear the rail coming & going till late night / early morning. Also, the hotel is really far from central Milan where all the tourist sights are. We took a cab to and fro as we see no point in wasting time taking public transport & getting lost.
Overall would be a very good stay if you are willing to pay the extra for cab rides.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Visit Fox Town (Switzerland) when you are in Milan. Great shopping at discounted prices. You can get a 1 hr bus ride from the tourist information counters.
